*As per the Economic Planning Unit's announcement for the minimum purchase price of any units of residential property subject to state authority consent. The minimum purchase value of properties varies from state to state.
** There is normally a real estate agent involved instead of a lawyer in negotiating the terms of the Letter of Offer.
***These 3 months are given as a time frame for investors to look for and secure financing. The extra month may be given as a grace period if one is not able to secure the remainder 90% payment for the property. The extra month, however, will incur an interest at the rate of 10% per annum calculated on a daily basis.
****The margin for the financing to be given to a foreigner is normally lower than 90%.|
*****For instances where the title deed of the property has yet to be issued, ownership is transacted through Deed of Assignment.
